It’s Gem’s developer over here, I hope you enjoy using the app :) By downloading, installing or using Gem, you accept to the following terms.

“Gem”, “We” or “Us”: The developer(s) of Gem
“You“: That’s you, any individual or entity using Gem
“Apple-branded device” or “Device”: That’s the device you’re using to access Gem
“Pro features”: Features in Gem made available by purchase

Gem is licensed, not sold, to you
You may use it on any Apple-branded device you own and control
This license is nontransferable
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive Gem’s source code, modify, or create derivative works of Gem, any updates, or any part thereof and circumvent any technology used to facilitate Pro features
You must remove Gem from your device before selling it

As of April 2024, Gem doesn’t perform any data collection
By design, data created by Gem is saved only to your device. Enabling automatic backup will upload your data to your iCloud account
Gem may collect and use technical data and related information to provide and improve Gem. The collected data must be in a form that does not personally identify you
If you participate in some of Apple's beta programs (including but not limited to TestFlight), Apple may share with Gem technical information about your device. This information is provided in a form that does not personally identify you

You acknowledge that using Gem is at your own risk
Gem isn’t liable for personal injury or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages arising from using it
Any information made available to you in Gem does not constitute professional financial, tax, accounting, investment or any other professional advice
Gem is made by just one human developer (that's me who's typing this). Hence, things can go wrong, you might encounter bugs, data could get lost, numbers might not add up, you get the idea
Gem is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults

These terms are effective until terminated by you or Gem
You rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of the terms

Gem undergoes continuous development, and we may update, change, or discontinue features without prior notice
We have no obligation to maintain or update Gem, and cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control
Do your best to stay updated: Gem might not work properly or at all if you failed to keep your device or app updated

You may not export or re-export the app except as authorized by United States law
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo
