Track budgets

Round all amounts

You can let Gem display rounded amounts in Tracking. So $99 will appear as $100, and $1,486 as $1,500.

  1. Go to Settings > Tracking
  2. Enable Round amounts

Budget calculation

Gem can include your income and/or transfers when calculating your budgets and total spent.

For example, when you spend $50 and receive $30, your total spent will be $20.

  1. Go to Tracking
  2. Tap the button on the top-right corner
  3. Under Budget calculation, enable Include income and/or Include transfers

Customize the Tracking view

You can view budgets and accounts in a list view or card view.

  1. Go to Tracking
  2. Tap the button on the top-right corner
  3. Under View options, choose Cards or List

You can also view all items on one list, instead of grouped.

  1. Go to Tracking
  2. Tap the button on the top-right corner
  3. Under Group by, choose None
Tip

You can also customize your Tracking widget tha appear at the bottom of your History. Tap any card inside it, then tap Edit and slide to choose your style: Hide budget, show category breakdown and more.

Budgets for categories

In Tracking, editing the budget size of categories (or accounts) is applied to all budgets of that category, regardless of their period.

This also applies to editing of savings goals, and any other item in Tracking
