You can create custom categories to match your personal spending and earning habits, like “Coffee,” “Gym,” or “Freelance Work.”
Create a top-level category
Go to Settings >Categories
Tap New category on the bottom
Give it a name
Choose a color. Tap the button below the blue color to see more color
Choose an icon. Tap the blue arrow to see more icons
Tap Add
Create a sub-category
Go to Settings >Categories
Choose the parent category (which will include this new category)
Tap New category on the bottom
Give it a name
Tap Add
Edit categories
Go to Settings >Categories
Tap the category
Tap the button on the top-right corner
Tap Edit
Change the name, icon, color or location
Tap Update
Reorder categories
Arrange your categories in the order that makes the most sense for you, so your most-used ones are always easy to find.

Tap Reorder
Touch and hold a category, then drag it to a new location
Tap Done on the top-right corner
Order alphabetically
Go to Settings >Categories
Tap the button on the top-right corner
Under Sort by, choose Name
Merge categories
Combine similar categories by moving expenses into one category, then delete the other to keep things tidy.
Go to Settings>Categories
Navigate to the category you want to delete
Tap on the top-right corner, then Edit
Tap Merge on the top-right corner
Choose the category you want to move the expenses to
Tap Merge to confirm
Tip
If you don't see a "Merge" button, that category doesn't have any expenses so you can safely delete it
Income categories
Income can also be grouped into categories, like “Salary,” “Side projects,” or “Investments,” to give you a clearer picture of where your money comes from.
Create an income category
Go to Settings >Categories > Income
Tap New category on the bottom
Give it a name
Tap Add
